I’ve always had a love for light and shadow. I first became aware of the way light could draw out the beauty of a landscape or someone’s personality by sitting down at the end of a long day and enjoying sunsets with my dad. Yes, I’m one of those who became fascinated by photography when my grandmother gifted me a Kodak Brownie and it progressed to the point of having my own dark room; however life took me down a different path. After losing Dad in 1993, I packed up my darkroom equipment and put the camera away.
By 2005, photography had advanced into the digital age. I started pay attention to light and detail once again and purchased a Minolta 6-megapixel DSLR – I haven’t stopped shooting since! These days I’m working harder toward making this a full-time endeavor, but rather than bore you with a lot of copy, I’ll do my best to let my images speak for me.
